At this year’s Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM) Prof. Tenzer receives a Best Reviewer Award for the third time in a row.

The article "Foreign languages in advertising: Theoretical implications for language-related IB research" has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies.

On June 21st Prof. Dr. Helene Tenzer and Prof. Dr. Stefan Feuerriegel gave their inaugural lectures. The festive event was well attended.

As part of the "Science Spectrum" lecture cycle (in German), Prof. Tenzer will speak about cultural and language diversity in global virtual teams on June 14th.

Professor Tenzer will give a keynote speech about “Crafting a research identity and publishing from the PhD” on June 20.

Two LMU SOM doctoral students took part in the course “Methods of Interviewing” organised by the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB) in Berlin.

Professor Tenzer will be chairing the track International HRM and Cross-Cultural Issues at this year’s European International Business Academy (EIBA) Annual Conference.

The article "From professional aspirations to identity confirmation and transformation: The case of Japanese career women working for foreign subsidiaries in Japan" has been published in the Human Resource Management journal.

On 26th and 27th April 2023, Professor Tenzer will organize a pre-conference workshop to the Annual conference of the VHB International Management Division.

The volume “Corporate Underground: Bootleg Innovation and Constructive Deviance”, edited by Peter Augsdörfer, has just been published at World Scientific.

"Culture-driven scripts for meetings: An integrative theoretical lens for studying workplace meetings" has been published online at Organizational Psychology Review.

Professor Tenzer presented her work on language in international business at the last GEM&L webinar.

The book contains a chapter by Prof. Tenzer on multilingual teamwork, which explains why virtual communication theories do not hold in the face of language barriers.

"Japanese Women Pursuing a Career at Foreign Subsidiaries: A Question of Identity" won the OB / HRM / OT Best Paper Award of the International Management Division in the Academy of Management.

"The impact of language barriers on knowledge processing in multinational teams" won the Journal of World Business 2021 Best Paper Award.
