Brief introduction

Master of Business Research (MBR)

The Business Research program (also Master of Business Research or MBR) is a postgraduate program at LMU Munich School of Management. The four-semester program aims to equip students with the methodological basis for high-quality business research. It is a compulsory part of the doctoral program at the Faculty of Business Administration, providing training in the essential methods and topics of management research.

LMU Munich School of Management offers a wide range of research areas, in line with the diversity of its chairs. Excellent dissertations and postdoctoral theses as well as high-ranking publications are proof of the research strength. Project-related cooperation with other academic institutions as well as with partners from industry round out your individual research profile in this degree program.

Munich School of Management offers a wide range of courses specifically for doctoral students. We regularly invite renowned researchers from around the world to teach methods and reading courses for doctoral students.
