The five clusters

In the five clusters, new research impulses are set across institutions and the competencies for future-oriented research are bundled in transdisciplinary cooperation. Two cross-cutting topics link the research fields through overarching socially relevant issues in the core areas of digital transformation and legitimacy & responsibility. The clusters work closely with the Centers of Excellence in research and teaching.
