Registration for „Basics in Programming“ (BiP) course

For those interested in the MMT program who lack sufficient credits in Informatics, we offer an MMT-tailored online course: Basics in Programming (BiP).

This remote, self-study course provides an introduction to programming and, upon successful completion, grants 6 ECTS towards the Informatics minor in your application to the MMT Master’s program.
This course is exclusively for applicants for the MMT; there is no additional certificate.

Please note that this course is a suitable option only if you have already earned at least 9 ECTS in IT/Computer Science for the following reasons:

  1. Without a basic understanding of programming, you may find it difficult to complete the course within the given timeframe.
  2. Since a minimum of 15 ECTS is required to apply for the MMT program, you can only meet this requirement by passing the BiP course if you have already obtained 9 ECTS beforehand.

Disclaimer:
If you intend to use your BiP ECTS for your MMT application in this intake, you must start the BiP on April 20 in order to receive your results before the MMT application deadline on May 15.
Registration for the BiP will close on April 19 at 8:00 PM (Munich time, CEST) and will reopen in July 2026.
