In a recently published article, the head of the Institute for Innovation Management, Prof. Dr. Jelena Spanjol, was named a notable alumni from the University of Illinois’s Gies College of Business PhD program. Since having completed her doctorate at Illinois (with a focus on Marketing and Cognitive Psychology), Prof. Dr. Spanjol has been recognized as a thought leader in the field of Innovation Management and New Product Development, which includes an Editor-in-Chief position at the prestigious Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM) from 2018-2024.
