About
Dr. Dominik van Aaken is head of the Center for Basic Research in Organizational Theory and Professor at the Charlotte Fresenius Private University in Vienna. Previously, he was Professor of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Salzburg and Professor of Management at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Munich. He did his doctorate in strategic management and habilitated in controlling at the LMU Munich (with research semesters at the University of Zurich and Kings College London). His research deals with topics of strategic management, corporate responsibility and sustainability. dr van Aaken's research is regularly published in leading international journals such as the Business Ethics Quarterly, Long Range Planning or organization. Through his activities in practice, he has gained an intensive insight into various functions and industries. He is co-founder of an international scientific network (https://sco-network.org), co-founder of a non-profit association (funds raised > 700,000 euros) and co-owner and partner of a consulting company in Munich.
