My research lies at the intersection of digital transformation and corporate responsibility. I am interested in disentangling firms’ obstacles on the pathway towards reaching new corporate goals. The phenomenon that many companies struggle to embrace or implement CSR, digital transformation and diversity at the top of the firm – all of which are highly desirable, in principle – fascinates me. As examples like ESG requirements or diversity quota show, these often need to be enforced by law.
My research aims to provide insights into the backgrounds of this puzzle and support firms in addressing (grand) challenges. I strive to contribute to critical discussions on design and governance of organizational change and openness with my work.
