Showcasing analytical flexibility in innovation research

We invited leading experts in structural equation modeling to estimate the same model of organizational innovation and performance using the same data. In the paper "Same model, same data, but different outcomes: Evaluating the impact of method choices in structural equation modeling", we describe the experts’ analytical workflows and discuss how the choices that researchers make during the data analysis affect their results and implications for further research and practice.

Building on these findings, we describe different forms of uncertainty in data analysis and provide recommendations for capturing data analysis decisions and ensuring reproducible workflows.
