
About us
The institute offers a wide range of courses that cover both the fundamentals of economics and insurance as well as current economic and business problems related to risk management and insurance. In addition to the academic aspect, the institute places great emphasis on industry contacts. Therefore, the course offerings are supplemented by applied courses taught by executives from the insurance industry. These topics include reinsurance, retirement planning, value-based management of financial institutions, communicative leadership, and digital innovation. The research focuses of the institute include insurance theory, disaster risk and climate risk management, risk classification, insurance fraud, and risk aversion.
