(3) Conference Travel,

(4) Long-Term Research Stays: Funding of €1500/month for up to 3 months, and

Deadline

Applications to the PostDoc Support Fund must be submitted sufficiently in advance of the start of the project to be funded. The submission should not be less than two weeks in advance. In justified cases, an exception to this rule may be permitted. In any case (i.e. even if the application is submitted two weeks before the project), the risk of the application not being processed on time and the associated refusal of funding lies with the applicant.

Projects in Coauthorship with LMU Professors

The aim of the PostDoc Support Fund is to promote the research and careers of young scientists. To this end, we consider it particularly important to support independent research work. With this in mind, projects carried out jointly with LMU professors are only funded to a limited extent. Funding for such projects is only possible in exceptional cases.
