Silicon samples in consumer and marketing research

We are pleased to announce that our paper on Silicon Sampling in Psychology & Marketing has been published.

In our current paper on Silicon Sampling, we explore how large language models can be used in consumer and marketing research.

Can so-called "silicon samples", synthetically generated data with language models, be used to imitate the behavior of human subjects? In our paper, we provide an overview of current studies that compare the results of these silicon samples with human samples.
