Prof. Marko Sarstedt is the new President of the Academy of Marketing Science

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Marko Sarstedt took over the presidency of the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) on September 1, 2024. The AMS is one of the world's largest academic marketing associations with members in over 50 countries.
The Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) is an international, academic organization dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of marketing knowledge. It promotes the exchange of scientific research and theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of marketing.
The AMS consists of academic and professional members, including professors, researchers, practitioners and doctoral students in the field of marketing. As President, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Marko Sarstedt now leads the Academy of Marketing Science and is supported by the Vice Presidents, a Secretary and a Treasurer. The AMS regularly organizes international conferences that promote the exchange of research results and best practices in the field of marketing.
The AMS is also the publisher of the “Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS)”, a renowned scientific journal that publishes leading research findings in marketing. It supports scientific research in the field of marketing and the continuing education of its members with conferences, publications and workshops.
The AMS offers a global network that connects academics and practitioners in the field of marketing. A key aim is to bridge the gap between marketing research and practice by making research findings accessible to practitioners.
