New Faculty Member in Our “Information Systems & Digital Business” Cluster

The LMU Munich School of Management continues to grow – both in people and ideas. We are delighted to welcome Professor Anne-Sophie Mayer as a new member of our faculty starting in April 2025. She will take on the Professorship for Digital Work within the Information Systems & Digital Business cluster, bringing fresh perspectives and valuable international experience to our team.
Professor Mayer is a passionate researcher and dedicated lecturer, with a special interest in how digital technologies are transforming the world of work. Her research focuses on:
- Artificial Intelligence in the workplace
- Emerging technologies and occupational change
- Algorithmic management
- Digital platform work
Before joining LMU, she spent over three years at the renowned KIN Center for Digital Innovation in Amsterdam – first as a Postdoctoral Researcher (December 2021 to August 2022), and then as an Assistant Professor (September 2022 to March 2025). During this time, she made significant contributions to our understanding of how digital innovation is reshaping work and organizations.
