Ann-Kristin Großkopf and Prof. Sellhorn receive societal impact award as co-authors

Ann-Kristin Großkopf and Prof. Sellhorn receive an award as co-authors for their field experiment conducted in the LMU cafeteria.

For their paper “How Does Carbon Footprint Information Affect Consumer Choice? A Field Experiment,” Ann-Kristin Großkopf, Thorsten Sellhorn and the TRR 266 researchers Bianca Beyer (Aalto University), Rico Chaskel, Simone Euler, Joachim Gassen (all Humboldt University of Berlin) have been honored with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-sponsored 2024 AAA-AACSB-RRBM Award for Research Impacting Societal Challenges.

The award will be presented to the authors on August 13 during the 2024 American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.

The purpose of this award is to recognize the impact to society of responsible research in accounting. Responsible research is defined as research that produces both useful and credible knowledge addressing problems important to policy-setters, organizations, and society.
