Once a semester (in May and November) the Academic Graduation Ceremony takes place in the Große Aula of the LMU Main Building.
Invited to the Academic Graduation Ceremony on 15.05.2024 are all those who completed their studies in the winter semester 2023/24. The prerequisite for participation is a certificate issued by the ISC by 30.04.2024. If the criteria for participation have been met, you will automatically receive a postal invitation from us with a link to the registration form.
When registering, up to two accompanying persons can be named and souvenirs can be purchased:
- Photo link to the photos of the Academic Graduation Ceremony (12 euros)
- Personalized LMU ballpoint pen (10 Euro)- Graduate hat (8 Euro)
- Combination package of graduation hat, photo link and ballpoint pen (25 euros)
There will also be an opportunity on the evening itself to order souvenirs and borrow hats and gowns from the Wasti student council.
We would like to stay in contact with you after you graduate: We look forward to your registration in our alumni network, which has been supporting the faculty financially and ideally for years - join us and benefit from our services even after your graduation. When you register with LMU Management Alumni e.V., the combined package is also available from just 20 euros.
The festivities begin with admission to the main auditorium at 5:15 pm. The official farewell ceremony starts at 6:15 pm and lasts around two hours: All graduates registered for the ceremony in advance will be called to the stage with their name and receive a letter of graduation. Doctoral students and prize winners will be honored separately and Buck Roger and The Sidetrackers will provide the musical accompaniment. Detailed information on the exact procedure and the line-up for the farewell ceremony will be sent out by e-mail approximately one week before the Academic Graduation Ceremony.
Following the official farewell ceremony, participants are cordially invited to toast the successful completion of their studies at a champagne reception in the Lichthof.
