Promotion of social networks and respectful interaction

One of WeCare@SOM's central concerns is to strengthen social cohesion at our faculty. We want to create spaces where exchange, encounters, and networking between staff and students are actively promoted.

In addition to thematic discussion formats and low-threshold networking opportunities, this also includes targeted events such as faculty outings, joint celebrations, and informal meetings that help strengthen relationships across hierarchical and status boundaries.

Another important component is our strong alumni network, which acts as a bridge between active members of the faculty and former students—for the exchange of experiences, mentoring, and long-term connections. In this way, we create a culture of cooperation, mutual support, and genuine solidarity—beyond the everyday life of studying or working.
