Concept

The Executive Master of Insurance is a business degree program designed for highly motivated young professionals, enabling them to amplify and broaden their existing knowledge while acquiring a comprehensive background in insurance. Delving into core topics including both general economic and mathematical aspects as well as specific institutional matters, the curriculum emphasises the exploration of challenges within the swiftly evolving landscape of insurance markets.

Theory & Practice - a unique cooperation between industry and academia

Drawing upon expert knowledge gained through a first university degree and professional experience, our Executive Master of Insurance program uniquely combines and strengthens this foundation with a specialized focus on insurance sciences. The program's primary objective is to consolidate both theoretical and applied know-how within the context of insurance.

The program's content is continuously and dynamically shaped through an ongoing dialogue between industry leaders and academia, with its concept having been meticulously developed in close cooperation between several Munich-based insurance companies and the Munich Risk and Insurance Center (MRIC) at LMU.
