Content | This course introduces academic research in financial accounting, auditing, financial statement analysis, and valuation, with a focus on empirical work. Its goals are to provide an overview of relevant research areas, develop research skills, and ignite curiosity in these fields. The course covers various research areas, teaching how to understand and critique papers individually and as part of broader research programs. It also helps build tools for interpreting, assessing, and extending research. The primary aim is to inspire students with a strong interest in research, nurturing their curiosity and guiding them toward engaging Master's theses or dissertations. |
