Every year, the Geneva Association: the International Association for the study of insurance economics, awards the prestigious Ernst Meyer Prize for university research work, usually in the form of a doctoral thesis, that makes a significant and original contribution to the study of risk and insurance economics.

Dr. Tobias Huber, who was employed as a research associate at the Institute of Risk Management and Insurance until 2021, has been awarded the Ernst Meyer Prize 2021 for his doctoral thesis “Essays on Household Behavior in Insurance Contexts – Theoretical Insights and Empirical Observations”.
