Over the past few weeks, 19 students from 10 countries came together at the Munich Risk and Insurance Center (MRIC) at LMU Munich for this year’s Case Studies in Enterprise Risk Management seminar.
Over the past few weeks, 19 students from 10 countries came together at the Munich Risk and Insurance Center (MRIC) at LMU Munich for this year’s Case Studies in Enterprise Risk Management seminar. The group included students from the LMU Munich School of Management, the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, and international exchange students currently studying at LMU.
Starting with the foundations of enterprise risk management, students moved from case studies, class discussions, and a risk management simulation game to corporate visits and direct exchanges with risk management professionals across industries. Beyond the formal elements, the seminar also created space for exchange and collaboration within a highly international group. Throughout the course, students not only deepened their understanding of enterprise risk management but also grew together as a group.
