MRIC alumnus Richard Peter has been named winner of this year’s Early Career Scholarly Achievement Award by the American Risk and Insurance Association!

We congratulate Richard Peter, MRIC alumnus, on being named the winner of the ARIA 2020 Early Career Scholarly Achievement Award! This award is granted by the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) to honor the distinguished achievement of Risk Management and Insurance scholars who are within 10 years of earning their Ph.D. degree. Richard Peter, who is currently a Professor of Finance at the University of Iowa, achieved his Ph.D. at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in 2013. He has been previously appointed Junior Professor in Risk Management and Insurance at the Institute of Risk Management and Insurance from 2014 until 2015.
