The Cultural Programme for the 2025 Summer Semester is now online, once again offering plenty of opportunity to enjoy special leisure activities or time off from seminars and exams.

Studying is more than attending lectures and seminars. Studying entails creativity and openness for new experiences. Therefore, we would like to offer all our students the opportunity to let their creativity run freely, to get to know new people, places and ideas and meet students from other universities in the region of Munich Oberbayern.

As always, there’ll be a number of relaxed events, such as Day trips outside of Munich, Creative Workshops and interesting Guided Tours through well known and less well known places in the city, such as the guided tour through Munich’s Underground in cooperation with Munich’s city drainage service. Like in the past semesters, this semester we also offer several scavenger hunts through Munich via App. So you can explore the city anytime, alone or in a group

For your personal development, the programme offers workshops and talks, on “Civil Courage”, or sustainability, such as a talk on “Avoiding waste“ or events about vegan cooking.

At “Speed Friending”, “Walking&Talking” through Munich’s parks or visits to several music events, you will get the opportunity to meet new people.

The programme also includes our traditional cultureclubbing events with DOK.Fest, Center for Literature and the Munich Film Festival.

The Advice and Counselling Centre of the Studierendenwerk organizes various talks each semester dealing with questions on scholarships or financing your studies as well as workshops providing tips concerning your everyday uni life or mental health.
