Guest Lecture with HYVE – AI in Innovation

On November 4th, our “Creating Market Offerings” course led by Prof. Jelena Spanjol hosted a special guest lecture by Felix Laarmann from the renowned innovation consulting company HYVE. The session, titled "AI in Innovation - A Practice Report," provided students with valuable insights into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in driving innovation.

During the lecture, the guest speaker explored the practical application of AI in various stages of the innovation process, from exploration and synthesis to ideation, prototyping, and testing. A highlight of the session was a case study demonstration using a self-developed AI chatbot, showcasing how generative AI can be leveraged to enhance creativity and streamline the development of innovative solutions. This engaging presentation equipped our students with a deeper understanding of AI's potential in the business world and its application in real-life scenarios, inspiring them to think creatively about integrating AI into their future projects.
