Management studies at Augsburg University with focus on marketing and operations research.

1992 Dissertation: parameter extrapolation in marketing research

1997 Post-doctoral thesis: multivariate advertising effectiveness control

Since 1998 Professor for Business Administration at the LMU Munich and Head of the Institute for Market-based Management

From October 2003 to September 2005 Dean of LMU Munich School of Management

Longterm experience in management consultancy and as a supervisory board member/ chairman of the supervisory board of several german stock corporations.
