Bachelor and Master thesis

We offer the possibility to supervise Bachelor and Master thesis supervision for students at the LMU School of Management.

If you are interested in writing your thesis at our professorship, please find the application process here:

• Prior participation in the bachelor main seminar (Hauptseminar) is required for the supervision of a bachelor thesis.
• Take a look at our team profiles to see if there are any overlaps with your research interests.

• Identify a potential supervisor that you want to send a proposal to.

• Applications are accepted four times per year (by March 1, by June 1, by September 1, and by December 1). After reviewing your application, you will receive a confirmation or rejection of supervision from the chair within three weeks and, if applicable, be assigned a supervisor.

• For your application, please prepare a one-page proposal stating your preferred start date, outlining your research interests, and describing what you intend to study (your idea), how you plan to do so (methodology and approach), and why you wish to pursue this topic (your motivation for the research question).

• Please submit this proposal together with your CV and a list of completed courses to Paul Vilchez (P.Vilchez@campus.lmu.de).

• Please be aware: English is the language for proposals and topics
• Only applications including the proposal, the list of credit courses and the CV will be considered
• The number of theses accepted for supervision depend on the current capacity of the professorship.
