Professorship of Digital Work

The Chair of Digital Work conducts interdisciplinary research into how digital technologies are changing the world of work.

Digital technologies are increasingly permeating all areas of the world of work and changing how, where and under what conditions work is carried out. Artificial intelligence, algorithmic decision-making processes and platform-based working models are key drivers of this development - with far-reaching consequences for employees, companies and society as a whole.

Against this backdrop, the Chair of Digital Work is dedicated to interdisciplinary research into how digital technologies are changing the world of work. In particular, the focus is on the effects of (generative) artificial intelligence on the transformation of job profiles, forms of work and organizational structures.
