Preliminary note
Due to the high demand for Bachelor's theses at the Institute of Human Resource Education & Management, the following regulations have to be made until further notice in order to ensure a plannable and as smooth as possible process of the assignment procedure of Bachelor's theses.
Structure of the Bachelor thesis
The general conditions of the "Information and Service Centre for Examinations in Economics and Business Studies (ISC)" apply for the admission to and processing of the Bachelor's thesis. In addition, successful attendance of the freely selectable (pro-)seminar "Research Methods" at the Institute of Human Resource Education & Management is required for the acceptance of a Bachelor's thesis.
The number of Bachelor's thesis topics to be assigned depends on the supervisory capacity of the Institute of Human Resource Education & Management.
The subject areas for the Bachelor's theses to be assigned are oriented towards the main research areas of the Institute of Business and Human Resource Education (see our homepage: Topics for theses)
To apply to take on a Bachelor's thesis, please complete the form (PDF, 237 KB) available here and send it together with a current account statement (grade transcript) by campus email to wipaed@som.lmu.de. Applications are made for fixed periods of time. After receipt of all applications, a decision will be made after the respective application deadline at the Institute as to which applicants can be accepted for this period.
After the closing date for applications, the applicant will receive notification by e-mail of acceptance or rejection to work on the Bachelor thesis.
If the number of applicants exceeds the supervision capacity of the Institute of Human Resource Education & Management, the vacant supervision places are primarily allocated according to the criteria of study progress and academic achievements. Therefore, a current bank statement must be enclosed with the application.
