On 9 and 10 February 2026, the first MAC² – Joint Management Control Research Seminar between FAU and LMU took place in Nuremberg.
On 9 and 10 February 2026, the first MAC² – Joint Management Control Research Seminar between FAU and LMU took place in Nuremberg. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Friedrich Sommer and Prof. Dr. Ivo Schedlinsky, the doctoral students spent two intensive days engaged in open, constructive, and intellectually stimulating discussions on research design, the publication process, and ongoing research projects. The new format fostered an honest exchange, collaborative thinking, and a strong sense of a shared academic community across institutional boundaries.
Beyond the seminar room, the informal conversations in particular, as well as the joint dinner at the Rotbierstüberl, highlighted what makes this format so special: meaningful academic exchange, mutual learning, and the formation of new connections among researchers.
