What better start into the new year than to welcome back a familiar face to our team! Dr. Jonathan Jensen, a former visiting PhD fellow, has now returned as a postdoctoral researcher to our institute.

Jonathan holds a PhD from the Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University and delves into research at the intersection of firm strategy, orgdesign, and labor markets - highlighting how firms and freelancers cope with uncertainty related to organizing economic activity created by independent work.

He is also one of the holders of the prestigious Carlsberg Foundation Grant, awarded to outstanding researchers in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The Carlsberg Foundation emphasizes talent development and internationalization of Danish research and seeks projects that contribute to social development and tackle pressing global issues such as refugee crises, conflicts, climate change, energy, water scarcity, and population growth.
