Meet our new colleague Benedikt Seigner

In April, ISTO welcomes a new team member: Benedikt Seigner.

Benedikt is about to complete his Ph.D. at the Entrepreneurship Research Institute of the Technical University of Munich under the supervision of Hana Milanov and has just joined LMU. His research interests include strategy, entrepreneurship, text analysis, sociology, and online platforms. Examples of his collaborative research are studies quantifying bias in the academic entrepreneurship discourse or work investigating gender stereotypes and innovation claims on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Joining Tobias Kretschmer’s research efforts, he will support the BIDT project on “Digital Collaboration Platforms as Enablers of Organizational Exchange.”

We are delighted to welcome him to our team and wish him a good start at ISTO and LMU!
