The event offers insights into central concepts and instruments of strategic management in banks. Under the direction of Dr. Alexander Ilgen, CFO for the Private & Commercial Bank (PCB) division and CFO of DB Privat- und Firmenkundenbank AG, central challenges are identified, and possible solutions are discussed with the students. Other high-ranking managers of Deutsche Bank will shed light on practical issues of banks from different perspectives. The focus is on the process of strategy development and implementation, the cost, risk and capital management of banks as well as the integration of corporate management and capital market communication against the background of current challenges for the banking industry. Content is developed in the form of lectures, joint discussions and interactive case studies.
