Every part of the financial value chain is being disrupted by technology-based innovators. We study how finance has changed and what the future may bring.

The curriculum focuses on the impact of technology on financial markets, covering topics such as high frequency and algorithmic trading, market models and security transactions. Students obtain financial knowledge in the context of digital transformations, applying theory in risk management, market efficiency, liquidity and regulations.

The seminar is offered regularly in the winter and summer term and aims at providing an overview over the most recent developments within the broad context of financial innovation and technology. The focus of the seminar is varying but generally covers the topics Market Microstructure, Big Data Analytics, Data Science as well as regulatory developments.
