The course provides an overview of the purpose, type, and benefits of third-party funding in science. Enrollment in the MBR
Students are asked to write a fully-fledged grant proposal (“Individual Research Grant”) addressing a self-chosen research topic sticking to the guidelines provided by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
They are also expected to present their ideas for the proposal at two occasions in person and actively participate in the discussions of other proposals. At the end of the course, students shall upload the project proposal as electronic copy (.pdf and .docx).
Applications for A/I courses are coordinated centrally by the MBR coordinator. At the beginning of each semester, all MBR students will receive an e-mail with details about the application procedure.
