Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser is the new Dean of the SOM

Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser, Head of the Institute for Capital Markets and Finance, begins his two-year term as Dean of the LMU Munich School of Management today. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Christian Hofmann, who held this position for the past two years.

"I wish Markus Glaser every success, good intuition and enriching experiences," emphasizes Christian Hofmann.

Prof. Dr. Glaser has headed the Institute of Capital Markets and Finance for many years and has extensive experience in research and teaching.

“I would like to continue the positive development of the faculty in recent years and look forward to working with the new university management from October,” says Glaser, who is looking forward to the new challenge.

The LMU Munich School of Management welcomes its new Dean, Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser, and wishes him a successful term in office!
