Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser is the new Dean from October 1, 2025

Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser, Head of the Institute of Capital Markets and Finance, has been elected Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration for the term of office from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2027. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Christian Hofmann, who has held this position for the last two years.

"Two years ago, I took over as Dean with great pleasure and experienced what we can achieve together as a faculty. My special thanks go to Marco van Baal for his great support. As the new Dean, I wish Markus Glaser every success, good intuition and enriching experiences," emphasizes Christian Hofmann.

Prof. Dr. Glaser has headed the Institute of Capital Markets and Finance for many years and has extensive experience in research and teaching.

“I would like to continue the positive development of the faculty in recent years and look forward to working with the new university management from October,” says Glaser, who is looking forward to the new challenge.
