TOP-BWL Contact Programme
Die Studierenden werden zweimal im Jahr auf Grund ihrer Leistungen im Vorsemester der Studiengänge Bachelor of Science BWL und Wirtschaftspädagogik ausgewählt. Sie werden zunächst auf die Dean´s List, der Liste des Dekans mit den herausragenden Studierenden der Fakultät für Betriebswirtschaft, gesetzt und eingeladen, die nächsten zwei Semester an dem Partnerprogramm TOP-BWL teilzunehmen. Die Kooperation zwischen Wissenschaft und Praxis soll durch das Partnerprogramm TOP-BWL intensiviert, die betriebswirtschaftliche Forschung und Lehre gefördert und verbessert sowie den Studierenden der Erwerb weiterer Zusatzqualifikationen ermöglicht werden.
Zweck dieses Programms ist die Schaffung einer Plattform zum gezielten Austausch zwischen Unternehmen und Wissenschaft, insbesondere für die Studierenden sowie die Förderung und Verbesserung der betriebswirtschaftlichen Forschung und Lehre und die Gewährleistung einer unternehmensnahen Ausbildung der Studierenden.
Die Studierenden können während des Programms eine Vielzahl von exklusiven Workshops und Veranstaltungen besuchen und sich bereits frühzeitig ihr Karrierenetzwerk aufbauen sowie wichtige Zusatzqualifikationen erwerben. Die Partnerunternehmen stehen außerdem bei Fragen rund um Praktika und Berufseinstieg beratend zur Seite und informieren die Studierenden regelmäßig über Vakanzen und mögliche Berufswege.
Thank you very much for the great organization of the Top-BWL program. A truly unique opportunity that has given me many exciting insights behind otherwise closed doors over the last four semesters. A program that allowed me to get to know many interesting people - both from the company side and fellow students - and that enabled me to demystify management consulting to a certain extent. With the help of the Top-BWL program, I was able to gain personal access to consulting and gather a lot of relevant insights, even though I didn't have the relevant background from my parents.

Who can be included?
80% of the students in the Bachelor of Science Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Business Education programmes are selected on the basis of their grade performance; approximately 20% of the participants are invited to take part in the programme on the recommendation of the chairs.
Students must meet the following criteria for inclusion in the Dean's List and for admission to the programme:*.
- Students are among the approximately 10% best in their cohort.
- The average grade on the respective cut-off date is decisive.
- They have achieved at least 50 ECTS and no more than 140 ECTS and have completed an average of at least 25 ECTS per semester.
The students are invited to participate in the TOP-BWL programme for the next two semesters. However, there is a possibility that the programme participation will be extended by continued very good performance.
The invitations for participation in the TOP-BWL programme and the confirmation for admission to the Dean's List are usually sent out at the end of March/beginning of April and at the end of September/beginning of October.
