Target GroupMBR, MMT & M.Sc. BWL (the prime audience are MBR students, but the course is also opened to interested MMT and M.Sc. BWL students)
ExaminationWe plan for an exam on site, in person. The questions will be designed in a way that we really see whether you understood the links. You will not be able to pass by skipping participation in lectures and just participate in the exam on-the-fly.
PrerequisitesThis is our most advanced course at the intersection of AI and management with a particular focus on current topics in research. To this end, profound knowledge in AI technologies is needed as well as an interest in mathematics, computer science, statistics, such as taught in one of our previous courses (e.g., AI for Managers; Digital Technologies, Business Analytics and Management; or our specialized courses and seminar).

The course aims to give an overview of current trends in AI research. We are excited about AI in management and the dynamic developments in this field. That is why we would like to provide first-hand insights into the latest research work, granted by high profile scientists from all over the world. We are very honoured to be able to win great guest speakers for the course every semester.

Outline

  • The weekly sessions on Thursdays consist of 45-60 minutes of presentation, followed by discussion, feedback and Q&A.
  • All sessions are available via Zoom.
  • Timeslots and Zoom links are listed via Moodle.
  • We require Moodle self-enrolment. The enrolment key is ac-cessible via LSF.
